Mushrooms for Modern Life

Gwella is a community of scientists, mushroom enthusiasts, and product builders providing psychedelic support tools and education to the public. We refreshed their visual identity and introduced additional brand tools to elevate and strengthen their brand presence.

Typography

The type system pairs Neue Montreal’s scientific, smart feel with Inferi’s trippy quirks to express Gwella’s multifaceted personality.

We introduced the orb as a graphic tool to bring a sense of serenity and balance to the brand. The orb is used as a focal point on most compositions, but can also be applied as a tertiary UX tool graphic in hover states.

The orb brings ease and just a smidge of psychedelic to social posts, podcast covers, and blogs … almost like the perfect microdose. Used throughout a variety of physical and digital touch points.
